House Keeper Position

Job Description

  • Assist in maintaining a safe, welcoming and user friendly environment.

  • Maintain apartments and other sections of ADAPT House to appropriate health and safety standards.

  • Assist in stock control and maintaining adequate supplies at all times.

  • Assist in providing practical support to individual families under the direction of relevant staff;

  • Prepare, cook and serve food including setting/clearing dishes and washing dishes

  • Maintain a safe and secure environment within ADAPT House and the surrounding grounds.

  • Maintain the building in good condition and assist with renovation/redecoration tasks.

  • Carry out tasks related to the up-keep of the ADAPT e.g. painting, carpentry.

  • Carry out similar tasks for ex-residents who are setting up their own homes.

  • Report safety and security hazards and maintain required records.

  • Participate in training, meeting and other activities of the Project as appropriate.

  • Be flexible  and willing to help out in other areas as and when required.

 

Working hours: 19.5 hours per week.
