Job Description

ADAPT are currently recruiting for a Housekeeper to assist with the upkeep of the refuge and office spaces.  Applicants for this position must be eligible for the Community Employment Scheme. This is a part-time role of 19.5 hours per week and is an initial 1 year contract.

 

Core Responsibilities:

 

Assist in maintaining a safe, welcoming and friendly environment.

Cleaning kitchens, toilets, apartments, refuge spaces, office spaces.
Vacuuming, sweeping and emptying bins as necessary.
Assist in stock control and maintaining adequate supplies at all times.
Assist with setting/clearing dishes and washing dishes.
Prepare rooms for meetings/training e.g. with tea & coffee.
Maintain apartments and other sections of ADAPT House to appropriate health and safety standards.
Liaise with staff regarding supplies needed, any potential hazards noticed.
Report safety and security hazards and maintain required records.
Participate in training, meetings and other activities of the Project as appropriate.
Any other duties as they may arise.
