Exhibition to Mark International Women’s Day

An exhibition will be held in Raggle Taggle Art Gallery on Sarsfield Street from Monday the 4th to Saturday the 9th of March to celebrate the work of women on the Breaking the Silence Project in ADAPT Domestic Abuse Services and to celebrate International Women’s Day.

Silent Walk in the People’s Park

As part of this year’s 16 Days of Action Against Violence Against Women a silent walk will be taking place in the People’s Park on the 4th of December at 1 o’clock.

The Limerick launch of the 16 Days of Action Against Violence Against Women is taking place in the Savoy Hotel Henry Street on the 22nd of November at 11am.

16 Days of Action

The 16 Days of Action for the Elimination of Violence against Women takes place every year from the 25th of November until the 10th of December. This is a world wide event that aims to raise awareness of violence against women and the benefits of a combined effort by governments, the public and community organisations to eliminate this violence in its many forms.
