DESCRIPTION:Building on learning from the Level 1 course\, in this course\, participants will gain a deeper understanding of trauma\, coercive control and the impact of domestic abuse on children.  They will also learn about safety planning and how to respond appropriately to disclosures of domestic abuse. \nPlease Note: Participants must have completed Level 1 Training to attend this course \nThis is a 2- day training course running on the 25th and the 27th of March 2025 \nFollowing this training\, participants will have: \n\nA greater understanding of complex trauma and the impact this may have on someone experiencing domestic abuse/coercive control.\nLearned how to recognise and respond to disclosures of coercive control and domestic abuse.\nLearned about the impact of domestic abuse/coercive control on children.\nAn understanding how to offer support from a trauma informed perspective.\nThe knowledge on how to refer to appropriate support services.
