How to Donate

All donations to ADAPT are used directly or indirectly to provide quality services for women survivors of domestic abuse and their children. You can also nominate a particular service for the women or children that you would like to support and we will ensure that your donation goes towards that service.

You can donate to ADAPT in a number of ways, including:

• donating online
• texting a donation
• direct debit
• donating by post
• making a bequest
• donating to or buying from our shop

Direct Debit

Regular donations greatly assist us to sustain the range of services we provide. They also help us to plan for future needs and to work towards developing new supports that women need for themselves and their children. If you would like to arrange a regular donation just download the following direct debit form.

Making a Bequest

Individuals may donate to  ADAPT by way of a bequest. If you would like to remember us in your will, please seek advice from your solicitor or contact Denise Dunne our Director of Services, in confidence, on (061) 412354.

Information on Tax Relief

Tax relief is available for any donation over €250 which means that we can make your generosity go further to help those experiencing domestic abuse. If you would like to help us avail of this option, simply send us your name and address with your donation and we will send you a form to sign. Alternatively you can download the tax relief form here and return it to us. This form allows us to claim the tax back on your donation.

Self-employed individuals and companies who donate to ADAPT can themselves avail of tax relief on their donation as we are a registered charity. Our registered charity number is CHY7405. Call us on 061 412354 if you are not clear what to do.

The ADAPT Shop

Another way that you can support our work is by donating items to our shop.  We will gladly accept donations of good quality saleable items. If you would like to donate any items, please telephone 061-319086 beforehand.
