Meet the Team
Gillian
Gillian is the Training and Development Coordinator for ADAPT since 2019. She is an honours psychology graduated from UCC with extensive experience in developing support services and designing and delivering learning and development programmes /courses. Gillian is interested in wellbeing and trauma informed initiatives and practice and is passionate about driving responses to help eliminate violence towards women.
Michelle
Michelle O’Connor holds a Degree in Social Care and Masters by Research in Loss & Grief Social Studies. Michelle joined the ADAPT team in 2023 supporting migrant women experiencing domestic abuse and then joined the Training and Development team. Michelle is passionate in the area of group facilitation, training and networking.
Jacinta
Jacinta works as a Training and Development Worker with ADAPT. She works in the area of prevention, providing education and training about understanding and responding to domestic abuse. She has experience working with young people and adults from a range of communities and cultures. Jacinta is passionate about promoting zero tolerance of violence within our society.
